To celebrate International Women's day 2020, we want to share success stories of STEM Women who were born overseas and currently working in the STEM industry in Australia.
Talking about our achievements can be difficult, but we must make our stories heard to encourage our younger sisters as
“You can’t be what you can’t see”.
We want to hear from YOU.
Please email us your story at email@example.com.
Please send us a brief paragraph about an experience you've had. Let these questions guide you:
1. What are your motivating factors, or what drives you to succeed?
2. What challenges have you faced as a woman of colour in STEM, and how did you overcome them?
3. What excites you about the future for women in STEM in Australia?
4. As an older sister, your advice to your younger sister starting in STEM?
We will share these stories on our website and our social media channels. If you prefer to be anonymous, let us know.
